Does the bible ever mention outer space? |
If not, then if we met like, the Vulcans, would it be immoral to have sex with one? Not in a direct way.. it calls it the heavens The heavens It mentions the heavens many times. The people who wrote the bible did not know as much as we do about space. the sun revolves around the earth. learn from it If you notice in the bible Heavens and Heaven are used as separate words. Apparently the 'heavens' are space. This planet is just one speck of dirt in a universe so incredibly vast, we don't have words in our language to indicate its vastness. And the Christians are content to call the rest of the universe, 'the heavens'. There probably is life on other planets. Will we ever meet them? I doubt it..It's a long way between galaxies. Star trek and Star Wars are fiction. |
