If ex wants to meet up even though...?

we broke up few days ago, we have discussed it, I've explained why it wasn't working and i know it's not an easy time for either of us. i don't mind meeting or talking, but it always starts well but then we discuss feelings and why it had to end, then she, understandably gets moody and wants to leave. i know we need space, and i do truly want to be friends, although i know that's not always possible.
I am just trying to do the best, honest way i can. i don't want to say no, i can't meet. but every time we meet the same thing happens. What can i do? help. thank you for reading my essay.

shes not hounding me, but my point is i usually end up explaining things, feelings etc. as i'm afraid it isn't clear.

maybe you two can be friends later, but right now, i agree that the both of you need space and some time away from each other so you can figure out what is best.

i know it is very difficult to let someone leave your life after a breakup, but if you were meant to be together, there will be nothing that can keep you apart down the road. for now though, i would tell her you still care about her, and you want her to be happy, but right now it is best if you both had some time apart. don't say you will call her later on, or anything like that. you will talk again, it will just take time. use this time apart to be with family, friends, work, etc. join a gym, or start doing other forms of sports or excersize. you will be getting fit emotionally and physically, and will be in a better state of mind to determine what you want in your future. you may want her to be part of it, or you may not. but, don't decide now. i wish you the best.

tell her that your meeting up with her not to discuss feelings...

make things different....when they start to go in that same direction focus on something else...talk about something else and if she continues to go back to it just nicly say that this is the reason you don't want to talk or meet with her b/c it always goes back to this maybe she will understand and stop and maybe not then you know that you two need space and may not be able to be friends.....

awww. my ex's and i eventually end up meeting, but then when we remeet someone gets pissed at the other one. But then we realize what happend. So if you meet up again just try to stay off the subject. Even if it comes up, try to change it as best as you can!!~~

explain to her that therse "meets" are not constructive is she is constantly hounding you.

dude its hard to meet up with them the (ex)cuz it could never be the same you'll bring up something she doesn't like to hear
or she would ether way ... if you have made up your mind about this and really want to be left alone just play along when meeting up with her till she's no longer hurt.. do you get me your there but yet not really and try to live your life be4 having to worry about others ...yours come first ...!! i hope i been a Lil help..
