Is it my Age?me and my ex. were in an accutal commited relationship for about 4 months.?

we were happy and had no issues. this was around christmas time. he had been goin thru a lot of problems in his own life and called me his "Angel". i must admit i told hin i loved him but i might just have love(he doesnt kno). one night we were layn in bed and he just kept mention the new things i could do becuse of my age. i told him i was not 18 and i was 17. i then explain it was a silly lie i told to get him to take my number. he never asked my age a day after we met so its not like i contiunued 2 lie to him or anything. yes we were sexually active(not that night tho). we broke up a week later. he didn talk 2 me for about a week and a half. we still texted every now and then but i was no longer his "baby, or bay" he called me by my name. on the new year (1/1/08) i got snowed in at his house for 2 days. it seemed as if we were back together. he says its not my age he just needs time to fix his own problems. i feel a space between us. do u think its the age? hes about 2 b 24yr

Well at the moment you're in two different stages. Not that different, but different. He's in college [or would be, if hes not] and you're still in hs, right?
im a freshman so just guessing.
Anyway..
My cousin used to hang out with older people at your age.
But, I think sometimes it can be the age. It's not anything bad, it's just you're going through different things than he is and vise versa. If you were about 20, that'd be perfect, probably.
But if it doesn't work out now, you can always try again later on in life.
I wouldn't worry too much. Sounds like he really does need time. He'll come back on his own, friend or more than friend.

P.S. I would tell you to date guys closer to your age but they are too damn imature at our age!

maybe its his own issues plus the fact that you once lied to him makes him feel more confused and affraid that you might do it again in a diff. situation.
