All the help I can get please?

I started dating this 29 year old women who is divorced and has a 2 year old son named Jacob, I am 23 but very mature for my age. When we first met neither one of us thought anything was ever going to get serious between us but it did soon enough, we were spending every night with eachother and I think she liked me much more then I liked her. Things were near perfect between US but she had lots of problems, she takes anti depresents and drinks and aparently those things do not mix well, she cuts herself with a razor when she is sad (I believe she does it for attention), and she is diagnosed bipolar, these things were always a concern of mine and she always told me how i helped her and made her so happy. We broke up about a month ago and I have tried everything to get her back, and all of a sudden the sweet, caring,loving girl that would of done ANYTHING for me has turned into another person, she pushes me away so bad and is so mean to me all of a sudden saying that she needs space to

fix herself. I am really hurt by this whole thing because I have been with her thru thick and thin. I know that there isnt another guy because I know the guys she is interested in wouldn't put up with her problems, and her brother told me there defiantly isn't anyone else. So we went a few days without talking and I called her and asked if she wanted to hang out and she did and from Friday - Sunday I was once again the greatest guy in the world and she "loved me" again. So I thought things were getting back to normal. Then a few days later I called her in the morning and she told me that I am being to needy and she doesn't like talking to me because of it. I was incredibly hurt because I was there when she needed me and I wouldn't dream of saying something like that to her. So she ends up changing her phone number and I havent heard from her since. I love this girl and her baby Jacob so much and

Just hang tough its going to be a roller coaster but she should come back around.

It's time to move on dear friend. You have to get over her. If it was meant to be, she will find you! and she will have her head together. Report It

Your approach would work well with a stable person. It seems as though your friend is far from emotional stability and she definitely needs help-help that goes beyond anything you can do. Use your head not your heart and break free before you pay the price of being a nice guy, which is great but not in a situation like this because it goes beyond what you can do.

If the person really loves you, they will always return. But as the old saying goes, "If you love someone, you have to let them go (set them free) and if they come back, IT IS LOVE!

WOW!!! you have a tough situation there. why are you going to give her a month to calm down?? I would think a couple of days would be good enough. On the other hand...are you concerned about her drinking and mixing her pills with it??what about her son? can't you call her and ask if they would like to go to the park or some where that would be fun for her son? maybe that is the approach you should be taking...if you really do care for her and her son and can accept the extra baggage that the relationship has with it...try to get through to her by spending time with her son. just because she is bipolar does not mean that you should give her a month to "calm down"...I know someone who is bipolar and her psychologist says that is was "chemically induced" meaning that the more she drank...and used drugs...illegal drugs...the worse it became. now that she is sober...her shrink says she is no longer bipolar..?? don't know how that works...but that is what she said. maybe this woman is playing mind games with you, maybe you should go and talk to her. that is the only way you are going to find out what is really going on. and if she says she does not want to see you, then move on and see if she comes to you. If she was younger than you are it would be possible. But this girl is so far advanced in the games you don't even know what is real. You did have fun and will be able to tell a good story later . Now you need to look at the young women only.
