Initial Budget:
$80,000 loan from family
$38,250 small business loan from bank
All loans to be repaid in 10 years

- You have recently found a location for your bakery and have begun implementing the first phases of your business plan. Your budget consists of an $80,000 loan from your family and a $38,250 small business loan. These loans must be repaid in full within 10 years.
- What integer would represent your total budget?
-Twenty-five percent of your budget will be used to rent business space and pay for utilities. Write an expression that indicates how much money will be spent on business space and utilities.
-How much money will rent and utilities cost?
-Suppose an investor has increased your budget by $22,250. The investor does not need to be repaid. Rather, he becomes part owner of your business. Will the investor contribute enough money to meet the cost of rent and utilities?
-$38,250 + $80,000 + $22,250-0.25($80,000 + $38,250) after rent,etc how much is left?

-The first part of the question asks that you find your total budget, that is, your amount of spending money. To do this, you merely sum your two sources of money: the family and bank loans. So: 80000+38250=118250
-We must then write an expression for the amount of money going to utilities. Ultimately this will be 25% of your budget, expressed as 118250*0.25 (budget times percentage)
-By calculating the result of this expression we can find the total cost of utilities to be 29562.50
-Because this result is greater than the contribution of 22250 the investor cannot cover the whole cost of rent and utilities
-The final part of the problem is just an expression to be calculated (I get 110937.50)

Total budget = 80000 + 38250 => 118250
Rent/Utilities = TB x .25 => 118250 x .25 => 29562.50
Invester Money = 22250 => 22250 < 29562.5 => No
