Whats the worst lie you've told?

i told my gf that i couldnt meet her for 2 days cause my grandma cut her arm off cutting ribs. just so i could hangout with my freinds. i feel kinda guilty but she was pressuring me to much. we needed some space

i mean worst as in a lie that you thought would work but the person didnt believe you for a second

I told someone I had to walk my dog for 2 hours so I could hang out with my other friends instead of her. She believed it for a few minutes, but then she was like... Wait! You don't even have a dog!"

You told her that your grandmother cut her arm off? Why didn't you just tell her you needed space.

As for me, the worst lie I've told was to my girlfriend that I quit smoking, when in fact I still do.

too many to remember. i always feel guilty adn humiliated afterwards though, even when the person's been "convinced"
