I m new to "My Space" and I m NOT a teenager...but how does this site work??
Men browse then contact me??
Do I post my personal email address??
My friend met a great guy & I want to too!!

Just be who you are, have a semi-interesting profile and network with current friends to make new ones.

go to "browse" it is at the top of myspace and you just look for people and go to their profiles and click message and thats how you talk to them, and you can also click add as a friend if you like them

u find someone cool then click on add me u can also message b4 u add and besides myspace isn't alwaays where people meet if u don't its cool

well you can meet alot of people but trust me dont you dare belive them! i met this girl who turned out to be someone fake. you can browse all you want but just remember there are some reall sick freaks on the internet! im just warning you i dont wan tot read in the paper or hear on the news antoher thing about a myspace set up.! good luck

Browse through and read bios, if something sparks, add them as a friend and start talking, although I don't see myspace as a place to meet a guy, but go for it.

Most of the people on my friends list were either people I knew, or people I started talking to through reading blogs. I really don't put much stock in "meeting" people online, as I work best in person.

But hey, put yourself out there, and land you a great guy!

Most people I know that have MySpace mainly have it to keep in contact with current friends that they know if real life. But, I know a couple people that have met some new friends on there. Sometimes random guys will either message you or add you as their friend. These people can do searches on myspace to find women that live close to them. If you want to do the searching yourself, then put in what you are looking for (males, single, within a reasonable distance) and leave them a message.

Be careful with who you choose to talk to/meet. And make sure you meet safely if you do. Also, don't take it personally if someone does not message back. As I said, some people only invite and talk to people they know if real life. Have fun!

only way i've seen so far
is to put a girls name in search and when you get to choose location make it like 10 miles away

or in your case guys name, just pic a guys name.

be careful what you wish for.Ive never met anyone personally on it but you'll get the hang of it.be honest dont put a pic of you and the middle one its high school. crap be an adult

You can do a search to meet people. It's not like a dating site, though, it's more of a place to connect/ reconnect with people. But if you want to use it that way you click at the top where it says Browse. Enter in the specifics you are looking for and click update. Another interesting way could be to search under Music for your favorite artist or band and look at that artists Friends. (That way you have a common interest). When you click on their pic, you go to their page. Add as many people as you want. People will eventually start requesting you as a friend as well. There is also a MySpace Instant messenger that you can download.

You or they can browse.

It is better to chat using myspace messenger for a while before giving out any personal info.

Never give out your home phone number to some one you just met. Reverse directories can give them too much info. Even if your number is unlisted.

If you meet someone you think you might like. Always meet in a public place for the first, second, and even third time. Until you feel comfortable.

People on line can be anything they want to be. BS abounds on the net
