Who was right? George or Mike? (from seinfeld episode with the parking space)?

The episode where george was backing up but took a long time before proceeding to parallel park because he was talking to elaine about how good a parker he was, just then Mike (Kramer and Jerry's mutual friend) started to go into the space headfirst, both cars meeting halfway... chaos ensues. Really funny episode by the way. Thoughts?

One of the funnier episodes. George was wrong...he took too long and Mike saw an opportunity and took it.

George was right. Mike should have just gone and found another parking place.

george, even though he took along time, he started at the parking spot first. i agree, a very funny episode.

George was backing in. It was his space. Unless NY motor vehicles licensing coursebook says go in frontwards, one goes beside the vehicle in front of the space you want, signal, then back in as you turn the wheel.

Well, you're supposed to back into a parallel paring spot, but then, your mind is supposed to be on the road.

I am one of the very few who actually never "got" Seinfeld. My friends swore up and down how funny it was, but the only time I laughed was during Jerry's monologues....which I later found was the show's only great flaw, those monologues.

*sigh*still don't get it. Why do these people hang out together if they're only going to be mean to each other?
