If it is really smoking, it means some is burning up on the inside, and it sure as heck isn't the chick you're talking about.

did you see the recall on dell batteries that catch on fire?

If it is a dell, on the news it said the batteries might cach on fire.

If your laptop uses a Li-ion battery and by your laptop smoking you mean the battery is getting hot, we have a problem. Unplug it ASAP and call the manufacturer. That was the problem with Dell laptop recall and Apple iBook recall as well.

If it's the laptop itself, make sure that the heat sink is free of dust so the laptop doesn't overheat and kill itself.

i think its just that ur so hott the comp cant take it lol =]
