Do you think the first aliens from outer space that we meet will be taller or shorter than the average human?

It seems that most of the exoplanets that are being discovered have a larger mass than earth. Would this cause life forms to be shorter in a high gravity environment? Could intelligent beings be the size of a small lizzard? Or smaller? Or is it more likely they are tall in size? Is there anyway to make a scientific guess about this?

It is likely that aliens would be based on some sort of DNA not much different from ours.
They would probably be in a range of about 2 feet to 20 feet.
Depending on the gravity they evolved in they could be pretty skinny.
They could be anything you could imagine but they wouldn't likely be as small as a mouse or as large as an elephant or a whale.
We may get proof that they exist but we will never meet one.

I dunno, but I'll bet they can do a mean high jump in our low gravity.

Well, first off, we have only found large exoplanets because the bigger they are, the eaiser to find. Second, if aliens did live in a higher gravity enviorment, they would most likely be somewhat smaller. Also, there is a limit as to how small a brain as we know it can be to be intelligent, so if aliens had a brain similar to ours, they could not be as small as a lizzard.

I think they are going to look just like us. Not being in disguise or anything, but naturally look like us. Two arms, two legs, appropriate organs. Varying height, weight, color ... I think if you saw one of these aliens walking down the street you would never know that they weren't of this world.

i think someone has already met aliens

they'll be made of light, so there is no size to consider
