Will the bible and koran still be valid if humans travel through space and time and meet new races?

...some of which, whom are even further advanced than we would hypothetically be then, yet have never heard of a Jesus, Bible, allah or koran?

I don't think so, but I doubt that will stop them.

It would still be valid of course new religions would come up worshiping aliens. And the religious people would say that all aliens are going to hell and a new part of the bible will be added/translated for them, "he who hath blood of green shall burn in eternal damnations" then the aliens will be considered the anti-christ, a republican president will wage a war against them and that will be the end of our race, except for the atheists who will remain because they didnt antagonize the aliens, even they will be enslaved by the aliens to clean their houses and trim their lawns for 1/2 minimum wage.

On the other hand, will it increase the Bible's validity when no other species are found in space?

The believers will always find a way to explain everything.

In the Bible it tells us there are no aliens or extra-terrestrial beings out there so that would make your question impossible wouldn't it!

The Word is the Living Word!

They might be valuable to the ones they were written for.

Prophet Mohammed said (closest translated meaning) -- That there are creations in Gods treasures who can take the entire universe into their mouths in one morsel.

God created this world for a short time and for the short test we are in.

After the test is over, he will recreate the heavans and the earth and people who enter into paradise will receive their own places that are 10 times the size of this earth and larger.

This life is a test and to pass this test we need correct monotheistic faith and good deeds.

.

What makes you think they are "valid" now?

Yes it would . In the Bible it say alot about it... it not very subtle though... ask a Pastor. THey usualy know

Neither the Bible nor the Qu'ran are holy books for me, but to those who believe them to be, why wouldn't they?
Meeting new races might bring new and interesting information on many levels, but that doesn't mean it would necessarily affect the religions of this world. It might, it might not.

The term is life forms not races these bronze age myths are what hold back the human mind and stop us evolving. Religion is for weak minded people I have never met any religious person who is able to use logic or reason, they are all morons.
http://www.evilbible.com/ this site shows just how stupid the bible is

The Bible and the Koran are valid??

Where have I been. Oh yeah, I think for myself; so I don't need a book to tell me how to think. Especially a book that was put together by some people who hand-picked what should be in the book, and disregarded things that should have gone into the book but didn't fit the preferred "storyline". No thanks.

Anyways, either the new races will say, "You guys worship that? We worship this dude" or they'll say, "What? You guys are idiots".

the way I see it not everyone will consider it valid because it's foreign to them, you got to remember they have other beliefs that our different from ours... so probably give them like 30 years to adapt to our teachings from Earth.

The Bible says there are no extraterrestrials?! It has people travelling up into the skies and encountering all sorts of unusual beings! Apocalyptic literature is in many ways the forerunner of science fiction.

The first question you have to tackle is which belief system is correct. I don't know much about the koran, or Islam. I know that they say that they acknowledge their god Ala, as the same God I worship. I do know a bit about the Bible, and I know what it says about God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and I believe in that with all my heart.

Then I look at the practicle, I love the idea of space exploration, however, after so many years of trying and money spent on building space projects that will not be the ultimate answer to the problems we have on earth (escapism never is). I wonder what God would say. So many people on earth starving at home and abroad, and we have the resources to help and defend them and yet we don't.

I wonder what all the billions of tax dollars spent to fund manned space exploration in the last 10 years could have done if it had been redirected to helping the homeless in our own US borders. (If that were the case then those lost in the Challenger accident would still be here as well, as the 60 year old homless man that was found under a bridge in my town last year. I believe that he and they deserved better)

I love aerospace, I am a fan of science and SiFi as well, I think it is great, but not at the cost of hungry, cold, homeless men and women, young and old. Yet I am a bigger fan of mans spiritual nature, the part of us that will never die, and if you believe the bible you wont need to "travel to strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations"... Jesus said "Seek you 1st the kingdom of God and all its righteousness, then all you need (food, clothing, place to live) all the things to live will be given to you. (Matt 6:33 nd so on my paraphrase).

As far a new races in space, God will show us all things when the time is right, and if he created other beings, we will know. Personally I wouldn't put it past Him, however, I would put to you this question, do you believe God would create other beings and not reveal Himself to them? Kinda limits the God I know. What do you think/believe about it.

all 4 now B

The way this world is getting away from religons and believes , i doubt it, But being a believer i hope it would remain valid !or atleast in east could retain it for longer .....coz east would still be lagging bahind in such kind of advancment !!

Peace be to you crusadawannabe!!

That's a big "if." Will it happen in your lifetime. I would doubt it.
