Meeting up with the ex tonight !! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN !? NEED ANSWERS ASAP !?

my ex broke up with me 2 months ago. I havnt seen him in a month. He broke up w/ me b/c he said he needed space and I was progessing more emotionally (which is bull b/c HE himself was very progressive but whatever) He said that I was his 'perfect' and that he still cared for me but with family issues, working 2 jobs, and in school full time I think he was just over whelmed. I gave him his space, told him how I loved him and miss him and left it at that...I don't want to pressure him. I want him back SO bad. Well, last week he called and we chatted and he watned to see me. I said I was busy. THen this week he said the same, so we are meeting tonight for dinner....I'm just goign to act calm cool and collected, not bring up ANYTHING of us or me missing him b/c he knows...what does he want? What does this mean? I dont want to get my hopes up..but I am...I just keep tellin myself hope for the best, expect the worst....ADVICE? What's in his head? HELP PLZ!

I really don't see how dinner would be a bad thing. My only real suggestion here is do NOT do NOT do NOT get intimate with him. Save that for if/when you two are together in a stable relationship. The last thing you want to do is turn love into lust. I hope this helped a bit :) Other than that do your best to calm down, relax & just enjoy his company for now. I also suggest getting out into the world with your friends :) & HAVE A BLAST WITH THEM!!

no one knows what is in his head but if he wants to meed up then it can't be bad right. if he didn't want u he would just never call u back so just go and see him and roll with it.

if i was you i would call him lik tonight and pop in a movie tel him your sorry and you cant go tonight. MAKE up a good reason. yeahh that will make hm want you more. That will let him see how your NOT desperate. And how your not <dying> to see him again. Ask him next time you'll make sure to not be busy and that you promise you can go. Ask him when it's best for HIM. tell him your really sorry but if he wants he can come to your house. that not only makes him want you more but it makes you look independent and no needy. I love these kind of questions. I was in the same situation and i canceled so many dates with him. he is now crawling.. lol good luckkk

I say just go into dinner like you said "calm,cool, collected" This dinner is for him to see if the spark is still there... and the spark may still be there....just take it slow and i would avoid being intimate. This may be a start over..doesnt mean you have to pick up where you left off...Get to know each other again...slowly.
