Do you accept or reject people麓s friend invitations on My Space?

In My Space I get daily several invitations of people that want to be my friend. I reject much of them cuz there are people that are from other countries and I dont know those people so i dont wanna be accepting invitations of people I know that I will never meet in person or talk to. As My Space friends I only have people I know like family members and friends. what do you guys do? do you accept anyone who solicits to be your friend or do you reject them? and why?

I'll only add people that I know. Friends and family that have Myspace, I'll try to find them and I'll definitely accept them. I'll usually always also accept a friend request from someone I may have met the day/week before that I hung out with, if they seemed cool. I don't really like the random adding of heaps of people.

There is nothing more sad than seeing an enormous friends list of random people, and in turn adding people chosen at random to your friends list to boost ones ego. I would add whom i know to the friends list, because i dont have any real desire to become friends with John Doe in zimbabwe.

strictly friends and family! It makes me mad that other people think they are cool with like 500 friends when they only know 50 of them. Besides that they all get spammers and then everyone gets stupid comments and messages from them!

if someone you know and like adds you then you should add them, if you don't even know them, then don't add them.

Actually, I deny all Friend requests. I'm hardly ever on, but I'm not on Myspace to generate and get to know people. I used to accept requests, give 'em a "trial period" and if I liked them, they stayed. If not, I removed them.

i only accept their invitations [or requests really] if I know that person. I dont HAVE to be their friend, exactly.. but if I know that person, then I don't mind adding them.

go to "account settings" and click on "spam", then scroll down until you see "friend requests", then check the box that says "require last name or email address" this means people have to know your last name or email in order to send you a friend request-it worked wonders for me

Neither, I've opted not to jump on the Myspace bandwagon.
