as of yesterday morning, i've stopped trying to contact this guy i'm completely falling for, b/c he was starting to act differently and i suspect he's met someone else. i just wanted to give him some space and see if he tried to contact me himself. but the sitting back and waiting for that possibility is making me crazy! i'm having anxiety attacks (consisting of getting hot, flushed, sweaty), can't eat, can't sleep, can't go anywhere, can't focus on TV or a book, constantly want to cry, and am a general mess.

has this happened to you?

That sounds a little more like you love him. I've had those feelings only when it was someone I was in love with not liked, but if your not dating you can either try too get over it by meeting other people or simple call and ask him whats up does he want too date or not.

Nope. When a guy says that he needs "space", it means that he either wants to break up and is too chicken to just come right out and say so, or he is screwing someone else. Times that I have backed away to give a guy "space", I have ended up immediately finding another guy to amuse myself with.

it didnt happen to me, but it did hapen to one of my friends. she was like obssesed with her b/f, it was annoying for him

No can't say that it has. Would not put myself through all that pain. Life is too short and there is too much out there that I could be doing. He's got the best of the situation, and he's not stressing! Why should you? Take this "space" time to do a little searching yourself, you might be surprised what you find....Good Luck

Yeah don't call him, wait for him to make the first move! I know it's hard but if he doesn't like you, you won't look foolish and if he does it will help you keep his interest (guys enjoy the chase, apperently it's part of their competative nature, they like to feel they have succeeded).
Btw I know exactly how you feel. Before I started to go out with my bf I went on a school trip to France and thought I was going to panic attack if I didn't see him asap! THEN when I came back he was on holiday for a week. Argh I don't think I've ever been soooo impatient. (Was worth the wait tho lol)!
Hope it works out, but if not, a better guy will soon come along, a guy who truly deserves all you have you have to offer xx

Oh yes, I know this feeling and it sucks bad! This just shows that you really do like him and falling hard. It's like no matter how hard you try not to think about it or "him" it just makes it worse and harder! Girl I would just tell him how you really feel and see if that changes anything. Good luck!
