Why space is needed in relationship...?

...I think it is important to breathe...take air..and then when you meet you will be more excited...

but not too much space , though....

What is your opinion about this?

Because were all different and need our space to plan our next course of action. Which could be something very simple or very complex. It's important to have some "me" time to reflect on things that are taking place in your life.

space is one of the many ingredients of a healthy and successful relationship my dear =)
too much space, your partner will complain that you neglected her, too little space will result in complains that you are pocessing her.
so i conclude only one ingredient that can overwhelm such situation, is love.
if you really love your partner, you will accept his or her everything =)

Sometimes space can test your relationship, how you handle things even if you are far from one another. But for me, its still depends on how you communicate with esch other.

There definitely has to be space in a relationship, but not so much in the spiritual and emotional sense. If I'm neglected there, I'll go crazy with hurt.

everything has to be balanced in life. if u r always together u wont miss them and u wont realize their importance in ur life.

You will never be able to appreciate the beauty of the ocean/sea unless you look at it from the shore...

Absence makes you long for the person and realize what it is without him/her. Just make sure that you don't stay far for a long time because "absence makes you forget" also.

Space in relationship is like the night's sleep after a long hard day.... it refreshes through the temporary freedom to get into the bondage even more steadfastly. Lack of space every now and then would make the relationship extremely burdensome.

You definately need a bit of breathing space at times. But its also helps if you know your partner appreciates you. So you don't feel insecure it he/she says they need some space. But communication,honesty and respect for each other is essential if the relationship is to survive.
