Guys what do you really mean when you ask for "space"?

this guy liked me, talked to me for a couple weeks, asked to see me a couple times but I don't want to meet , We went out a few times, in the past two weeks movies beach mall... He begged to come over and I finally gave in, than after being so interested suddenly after last weekend at my place he's now telling me he needs his space, apparently space means not talking to me at all. I never ASKED him to come over! He was here Sat than came back Sunday and than by Monday evening he told me by text that he couldn't talk to me for a few or more days, and that he couldn't explain why. later he texted that he needs his space... thing is I wasn't asking him to come back to see me all I did was call him once Monday and he than texted me that.

Why would a guy be so into you Sunday night morning and than need "space" not want to talk to the girl the next evening?


GRR what the H is going on. Guys have you done this to a girl you liked so much, what suddenly changed? What did you do?

Hmmm... i am wondering... something must have happened during that time when he was with you... sex?

Maybe he is attached to someone else. Or it could be that he just needs time to think about how you both have progressed & needs some quiet time to check his feelings.

In any case, give him that space he needs & if he doesn't get back to you in about 1 week, move on.

Men usually tell a woman they need space because she's either crowding them by trying to control their movements, or nagging and whining too much. In this situation, he just sounds to me like he wanted to get his bones cracked and now he's just recharging his batteries for when he needs another piece. I could be wrong, but unless you acted betchy or bugged the hell out of him while he was there, he's probably just going about his everyday thing and you aren't invited...
