Next level, question 2: We've covered seperation by space, what about time? |
What if I were to find some person in history who shared not just my delusion of God but also the same stuggle of belief and the same pattern of confrimation from an outside source. (I think a lot of you haven't figured out yet that I'm trying to trap you into describing to me my delusion and explaining what it is. For me, it's entertaining to see the arrogance of someone who claims not to believe anything, but then goes on to describe it anyway.) If you had never heard of god previously, had never read the bible or any other Christian writings, I would be willing to hear your evidence, but as you both have the same informational input, your shared delusion isn't all that astounding. I said if you hadn't read the bible, not Abraham. Really? That's entertaining for you? Cause what's entertaining for me is to watch YOU call anybody arrogant! So you're saying that because some dead people believed in God, and you do too, he must exist? No, you'll have to do better than that. Certain delusions can be reproduced in multiple individuals, often as a function of organic injury. Seems like you added that last bit after you figured out there was no strength to your argument since it's circumstantial and says nothing at all. god did it I'm not the first one to be an atheist, either. Does that constitute concrete evidence that my position is true? 600 years ago, the whole world believed the earth was flat. Does that make it true? I'm with Laptop. the only way I MIGHT be able to replicate your mindset is by ODing on massive amounts of LSD.....your arguments are weak, lack evidence to back them up, and are simple attempts to try to affirm your arrogance...... Then how do you explain the fact that people around the world with religious beliefs don't believe in the same god if there supposedly is only one god? And it's not like you're the only one who is delusioned by the christian god, there is this thing called bible others also have access to long after you're dead. I have no idea what you are on about. Seriously. You are trying to sound like such an intellectual, but you are really failing miserably. I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, but how can anyone respond to this reasonably? I never claimed to believe "nothing." This is an open forum, so I'll answer any question I want, thank you very much. Bipolar disorder can cause symptoms of extreme religiousosity and thoughts of grandeur. So, a person can share similar beliefs or delusions while suffering an illness. well, one example that man has overcome the limitation of time is when 2 strangers, after desiring so much to find their soul mates, have finally met each other and discovered themselves to be so compatible, that they seem to click together as the perfect match, despite the desparity of age. I know people in Hamburg who believe in the old Viking Gods of Odin, Thor Loki etc. They are seperated from ancient believers by time. Following your "logic" - Thor, Odin and Loki must exist. They must not be deluded. In fact they are perfectly logical well balanced individuals believing in true Gods. Put it this way, same journey, same delusion. |
