I dare you to figure this girl out.....?

I have been talking to this girl (on aim) who I met on my space for a year and a half. She keeps on saying we will hang out but we never do. We live only 5 miles from each so it鈥榮 not that far to travel. She hangs out with guys all the time that she meets online. So I think well maybe she鈥檚 not into me. So I have stopped talking to her several times but like clock work after two weeks she post a comment on my space 鈥渨here have I been 鈥?ect.. . So then I talk to her again. She gets upset when I ask for the reason why we don鈥檛 hangout .Does it make any sense that a girl would date shallow men so she doesn鈥檛 have to deal with guys on an emotional level?? Her dad had an affair and then her parent divorced when she was 12. He never took an interest in her life. I am not sure if this is the reason why she does this. She has trouble dealing with her emotions. So she hangs around people that don't challenge her in that way. I do and as a consequence I am kept at arms length.

So it鈥檚 a win/lose situation. I care about her a lot I don鈥檛 want to cut out of my life but she is putting threw hell. I know her better then anyone and she has stated as much but it doesn鈥檛 seem to matter. So what do I go to her house and say her I am???

Sorry to break this to you, but from reading your letter I think she's insecure and needs to feel wanted. It could be she's already seeing someone you don't know about and is just using you as a surrogate boyfriend.

Stop talking her for a while, let her post "where have you been?" myspace messages. If she really likes you, she will find a way to get in touch with you and meet you in person. In the meantime, you've got to move on and find someone in your life who wants to be with you. You deserve someone who cares about your feelings.

Unless they are in a relationship or are busy at work, girls usually won't say no to meeting a guy they like.
