I have been dating my girlfriend for over a year now, but recently she has asked for some space.

Since I met her I seemed to know I wanted to be with her forever without question, but now with giving her some 'space' I have been questioning my feelings.

How do I know if she is my soulmate?

You have to decide that for yourself. Your perspective on the relationship will be evident to her. If you want it to work out, you NEED to convince yourself that it will and get over the fear of being hurt. Everybody worries they might get hurt. Just don't dwell on it and accept that you can deal with it if it happens.

If she is truly your soulmate, you need to tell her. Maybe she wants some space to see if you're her soul mate. IDK. but whatever the case she deserves to know.
