Do you think this person is crazy or not?

my name is heather and i have a chick friend she met me on my space/We hang out sometimes. For some reason she lies to me about everything.Her name is linda.She lies about Where she lives ,her job, and she contradicts herself a lot too. Well I know i shouldnt be friends with her but I am still because I am confused about the whole situation. I took her to dinner for her bday and i met her other friends. One is just a party friend and the other is a nice girl like me.Her name is lori. Lori is Married and has a good job.Seems normal and i met lori threw her. Lori and i were getting along great. I was wondering why lori was friends with the one who lies a lot to me (linda)Anyways lory and i got along great.she took pictures of us at square one and put them on her myspace. Well 2 days later she removed them.do you think that my myspace lying friend told her stuff about me? also why do you guys think shes lying to me all the time? and why does she have a decent friend if shes a liar

Ive just home & im a bit pissed but never mind, sounds to
like you know the score & just need someone to tell you that your right about your "friend" People who lie or glamourize about their lives are usualy insecure and dont
mean any harm. you may well be right about linda telling
lori stuff about you, linda may not of been happy that lori
and yourself were getting along. Good friends are hard to come by and time will tell if these people are good friends

Just some advice- My Space friendships often run into tons of problems. Though you can meet tons of great people on it, some people just like to be a person that they are not. If you want to get some new friends maybe you should meet them in a different way.

Your friend may be a pathological liar. A pathological liar is someone who often makes up stories to impress people. A pathological liar is different from just a liar in that a pathological liar believes the lie he or she is telling is true鈥攁t least in public. Your friend may have a serious mental problem that isn't yet diagnosed or being treated.

Linda is not crazy but does need professional counciling. You and your friend Lori are her freind because in one way or another you guys feel sorry for her. However it is just a matter of time before Linda is going to lose Lori and you as her friend if she does not start seeing the error of her ways.

It is possible and I would agree with you that Lori took off the pictures because of what Linda told her about you. Unfortunately it sounds like Linda is a pathalogical lier. If she is aware that she is lieing to you and everyone else I would advise you to pull back being friends with her. If she is not aware of this behaviour (some people are not aware of it) polietly and quickly stop being her friend or help her get the care that she needs. Etiher way she needs professional help.

I know that this is a hard thing to deal with. Please keep in mind that I am not a therapist; and am giving you my personal opinion from what I have seen happen to someone else who was tring to be a freind and help out.

Hey Heather, there are people out there who don't know when they are lying or telling the truth, it becomes second nature to them. There is a old saying, Some people you meet for a season, and some for a reason..............i would back of a bit, if i was you, and get out there and make new friends, good luck and god bless.
