Do you think this person is good person?

my name is heather and i have a chick friend she met me on my space/We hang out sometimes. For some reason she lies to me about everything.Her name is linda.She lies about Where she lives ,her job, and she contradicts herself a lot too. Well I know i shouldnt be friends with her but I am still because I am confused about the whole situation. I took her to dinner for her bday and i met her other friends. One is just a party friend and the other is a nice girl like me.Her name is lori. Lori is Married and has a good job.Seems normal and i met lori threw her.Lori Lori and i were getting along great. I was wondering why lori was friends with the one who lies a lot to me (linda)Anyways lory and i got along great.she took pictures of us at square one and put them on her myspace. Well 2 days later she removed them.do you think that my myspace lying friend told her stuff about me? also why do you guys think shes lying to me all the time? and why does she have a decent friend if shes a liar

Some people lie 2 make themselves sound more interesting.It depends on if the lies cause trouble or not.If they do you want another friend.If they dont then she could just need cheering up 2 make herself happier with her life so she doesnt need 2 lie.Some people r compulsive liers & cant help themselves.You have 2 try & see what the motive is 2 the lying & decide from that if the person is a nice person or not & if theyre worth helping.Try talking to her about it.As they say,'honestys the best policy'.Maybe the decent friend has known her a while & so understands why she acts the way she does.It takes time to understand why people act the way they do,u hav 2 get 2 know them.U have 2 ask urself-is it worth the trouble?If you like them that much persevere or try talking to the 1 that it would be the easiest to bring the subject up with.Good luck.

forget them all, true friends dont lie, and she probably got jealous about you and lori and she robably told lori lies, let lori figure it out for herself, and you move on, with friends like that who needs a enemy

I think you think to much. You don't judge people by their words (unless they contradict themselves all the time), you judge them by their actions.

So one seems to lie to you with words (good enough reason to doubt their integrity), and the other acts in a contradictory manner: it's the same thing.

Just ditch Linda and her friends too..seems like a strange group of people anyways...people lie because they are wanting to be something their not...obviously she is not happy with who she really is..you cant try and change that...sounds like she is going to be whoever she wants to be... and its definitely not going to be just herself. if you cant be yourself in front of your friends...then who can you be yourself around??

Dont trip. If the liar girl is lying then do not be aroud that. If Lori doesnt want to be friends oh well find new ones that are kind. You will be happy. I know it may hurt you to have this happen but think about it. Liars make this kind of stuff happen so do not be around them.

You hav eto be a damn good liar to be a liar mate!!! She is obviously rotten at it! The whole lot of them are not worth wasting your time on, you sound like you deserve a whole lot better than that! If i was you i would erase all traces of her outta your head and make new friends. She is lying in order to try and impress, but it not working, she probably cant make friends any other way, but this way she aint gonna keep em either!! I think this just proves how insecure she obviously is, i feel sorry for her cos if she carries on this way she is gonna end up a lonely lass! x

Heather you worry to much I think. It's surprising what we can put up with from our friends. I think it's very hard to be friends with someone who lies to you. She is very blessed to have you, I think you must be a very special person to put up with it. However if it makes you ill I think you should remove your self from this relationship and leave her to the other friends and you build a new circle of friends that you carefully and slowly get to know. I think the Internet attracts people who can hide.
