Palms hotel vegas?

I'm going to Las Vegas when I graduate this June. And I wanted to know how much it would cost to stay for about 5 days per person. And I've also heard Michael Jackson stays there. If its true how can I meet him there or get a room next to his?

So when in June are you going? I was looking here at http://www.bestofvegas.com/hotels/Palms-... and they said that a 5 days at the Palms would be 229.99 per night!

#1 The room rate. It's anywhere from $89 to $399 before hotel tax per night. That's just for a regular room. But if you get the double, you can sleep 4 in the room so divide the total by 4, or however many will be there.
#2 Food - it all depends on how you eat. You can eat on $20 per day per person on the cheap with buffets and coffee shops and fast food or it can get expensive if you dine at nice restaurants.
#3 Gambling - This can be nothing if you don't gamble to thousands of dollars a day if you do. You mentioned you are graduating. If high school, you are not old enough to, and if college, then I'd concentrate on the penny slots or 2 quarter machines. Easier on the pocketbook.

On the average, most people budget around $200 per person per day.

Michael Jackson has leased a house here in town and no, I'm not going to tell you where even though I know the neighborhood, as we Las Vegas locals try to protect the celebrities privacies. So no, there's not a snowballs chance in hell of you getting a room next to his. But if you really want to see him, he's sometimes seen shopping or playing with his kids. But he's very hard to get next to as he has a large entourage.

first off if you plan on seeing any celebs or staying next to any of their rooms you will need to book a suite, not just regular room. Most of the "Fantasy Suites" such as the Celebrity or Hot Pink Suite go for about $1,000 per person PER NIGHT!!!!
Most have already been booked as well, so little chance of getting one this June.
As far as just a regular room it's about $500 per night >a little less during the week ($200/300 range) but again book NOW as they sell out fast and I've already seen some dates late June (and during week) sold out

If you go to the 'right spots' you WILL for sure see and bump into celebs. Maybe not Whacko Jacko but...

In one of your other questions didn't you say you were like 14?!? If so you should really wait to go to Vegas...what are you going to do there being too young to get in anywhere?!? I went to Vegas with my family when I was around your age, although there were things for me to do it was not at all as much fun as when I went back after I hit 21. If your only reason for going is to get close to Michael Jackson, (I see from your other questions what a MJ nut you are) you are more than likely not ever going to see him so you should save your money, wait until you are 21 and go and have fun. Don't worry about seeing him as it will probably never happen.

NO you cannot get a room next to his because he is no longer staying there after he apparently trashed the room and did not pay his bills. Check the Palms web site for prices, but know you have to be 21. BTW the rooms that celebrities stay at are thousands a night, not for the average Joe.

MJ lives at Spanish Trails ... this giant developement is walled completely around and there are only two gates to get in ... they are well guarded and you can not get in. So you can stay at the Palms if you are old enough .... but not a chance of seeing MJ there.

This is one of the higher priced hotels. You're looking at $100+ per night.
