Do you think people who are addicted to online porn and chats are losers?

I have this girlfriend constantly fighting with her husband for online porns and chatrooms. According to her, It seems like her husband is the chat room king (he has almost 60 female online buddies), and he constantly watches internet porns.
To be honest with you, this husband of hers is nothing but an average Joe. Maybe even a little below average. He's very short 5'4" a little chubby, he has a boyish cute face, that is about it. He holds a regular 9 - 5 dead end job, and he drives a Scion. There is no way he can get any decent looking girl to date him in real life. So why did he become the chat room king? It is beyond my imagination. My girlfriend says that the chat room girls instant message him compliment his looks all the time, they say they want to have his baby?!
What's going on here? My girlfriend wants to divorce him if he doesn't stop chatting on line or watching online porns.
Why do men like that? Not like he's meeting any of these people?

He needs a life. Get him to join health club, library, yoga, part time online business on ebay, music instruments, get a pet like dog etc. etc. This will keep him busy after 5 in the evening.

It is an addiction. Certain chemicals are released in the brain that make porn fun. If what you say is true, he doesn't get hit on in person. He must have a great pix, and that's all it takes to make a lot of friends. As well as a finesse for writing original sexy chat. She should leave him if this bothers her. He won't quit. He'd rather get divorced than quit probably. If he's not meeting these girls, but a lot of them are maybe local, then it's her choice. Oh, and why wouldn't a man love all of that attention. And if his life is so monotonous as you make it out to be, maybe he is finding a little reassurance on line that he's desirable to someone. Looking for that pat on the head that he is a good boy. It might be that your girlfriend needs to do something to pull his attention away from the computer more often. Maybe he's addicted to porn. Could be a lot of things but sure hate to brand a guy as a loser like some "quick thinking" girls do before all the facts are in. It's a two way street.
