I am 0 for 5 in the past 2 years of askin a girl out?

Now i just dont ask out anyone and i have a hard time meeting nice girls, so thats why only 5 in the past 2 years. I havent had a gf since middle school, even then not even really a gf. iam 20, a nice guy, athletic, "cute." Now i know the first 2 may have rejected because i sucked on communication, so shy. Number 3 i asked out on valentines day, with roses and a note i sent to her class room during school. Number 4 is into the "bad" boy type. And number 5 supposable has a boyfriend she sees on the weekends out of state. I dont know how many more rejections i can handle. It seems all the nice girls have bfs already, or what not, I know you guys dont know me, but what possible reasons could u guys think of that i am 0 for 5, I mean i dont think any of these girls are "out of my league..." What can i do better

I'm sorry you have been rejected so much. I know the feeling. It seems like you are just asking the wrong girls out. You should pay more attention to the mysterious, maybe not so sexy women . They can turn out to be very interesting and good people. It just sounds like you are one of those guys who goes for girls for their looks.

Find someone that is kind of like you. Someone that is kind of shy. Someone that doesn't have a lot of friends. Get to know the girls as friends first. When you make an honest attempt to be friends with someone that doesn't have a lot of friends, you'll be liked by even those who do have a lot of friends.

you will eventually find a girl. just be yourself. dont change for a girl. someone should like you for you not pretending your someone else. and your only 20 just have fun and eventualy a girl will find you but if you look it wont come. love finds you it doesnt come if you are looking it comes on its own :)

i think if u want to get a girlfriend, u need to stop being afraid of rejection and go for it. The thing about failure is that it prooves u actually tried something, so that might make girls think u have some guts to like go up to them while there with there friends and say they look nice or something. I can tell u, being a girl, i know that i like when guys let down their gaurd and tell me how they feel. And once u get one, don't be afraid of comunication, unless the girl tells u so, im pretty sure we all like some phone calls now and then. ok hope this helps!

If you were 0 for 5 in the last week, I would just tell you to keep it up, you'll eventually strike oil. 0 for 5 in 2 years is easy. Your standards are way too high. You shouldn't just be asking out the one girl who will be your future wife. You should be asking out a wide variety of girls to get some experience relating with different girls.

The other thing is that you're making too big a deal of the date. It doesn't work that way any more. What you do is make friends with the girl first. When you figure out that you're compatible and have a chance for a deeper friendship or a relationship, you step it up a little.

By the time you're asking a girl on a date, you ought to be 80% sure she'll say yes.

So get to know more girls first, and don't be so particular. One thing you'll find out later in life is that looks change over time, and personalities differ from day to day. You really need to get to know a lot of girls to make an informed choice.

And never pull that Valentine's day stunt again. That just has "chump" written all over it. Unless you like girls treating you like carpeting. Then go right ahead.
