Why would Scott McClellan lie in his book, "What happened"? If true, how will these allegations be explained?

He is selling a book, but why would he lie?

He lied and turned his back on his colleagues in the White House so that his book could make it to and shoot up on the Best Sellers list.

This idiot is probably short on funds and needed a way to make a lot of money. It's a money grab on McClellan.

You know the old saying "He'd sell his mother for a dime"? Well the statement certainly applies to McClellan.

Scottie is just admitting what everyone with a brain already knew using information outside the corporate media censorship lockdown.

Bush and Cheney and their cabal have repeatedly refused to give testimony under oath, hand over requested documents or answer any sort of question. They destroyed milllions of emails to cover their tracks. They are blatant criminals and the brainwashed righties think they are Gods.

These people should be charged with treason, gross negligence and incompentence, malfeasance, corruption, and anything else you could find when you actually got the documents and testimonies.

BTW what gets me is that the supposed reason for writting the book is the author's being left out of critical paths of info.
So he says he wrote it cause he didn't know enough.
Now people are buying a book from an admitted ignorant author.

a) the fact that the book's price and in what section of the bookstore it can be found is listed in your lead should be a clue.

b) what product, idea etc. is ever presented WITHOUT "propaganda" ? Even Viagra advertises.

c) like his first book, the "meat" is still his impressions rather than facts...
....He FEELS the press went too easy on Bush
....He BELIEVES he was mislead...
....He SUGGESTS that secret meetings were held
...and so on

You might as well ask yourself, "Why would Britney WANT to look like a slutty, crazy, bald woman? Well, it gets her on the cover of fifteen magazines in one week, doesn't it?

The fact is neither scott nor brit are selling actual product...they are selling an image of themselves that is designed in whole....to sell...

"He is selling a book, but why would he lie?" ... Because he's selling a book... Duh! How many people would buy a book that was a love-fest with GW?

Just how principled is McClellan if he was lying all his years as Press Secretary? If he believed the war was ill-advised, shouldn't he have stepped down THEN, or at least made his concerns known?

Or if as he says, his statements were "misguided," then perhaps... like Bush... the issues of WMDs, etc., were not realized then. It's real easy to criticize from the perspective of history... versus when you are in the middle of it and have to make decisions based on the best intel available at the moment.
