Ideas for a 13th birthday party...? |
Ok, I am turning 13 in about 2 months. I have no idea what to do for my party. Since i am turning 13, I want to do something big. Just i have no idea what to do. I don't want a HUGE party where like 100 people are invited. I just want a fun party, with 7 of my closest friends. So 8 people total. Once again, i want to do something big. For example, when one of my best friends turned 13, she invited about 15 people to a paramore concert. (Her parents bought all the tickets, and rented out a private room for us and arranged for my friend to meet the band.) Her party.... im guessing... was about $700. My parents would not spend that much money just for a birthday party. So what is an AWESOME idea I could do in a 100-200 dollar budget? have a mall scavenger hunt. go to your closest mall (or any you prefer), and split up into two groups, and have a list of all of the things you should try to find and eventually buy (give each team about $20-$30, doesn't matter how much). on the list put how many points it's worth. for example: shimmering lip gloss-2 points, and make sure you have a time limit, and have cell phones with you so you can keep in touch with the time watcher (usually like a parent or someone). then the winning team each gets extra prizes, and all of the stuff you bought are like gifts and prizes for the guests. then just order a pizza and instead of a cake get ice cream or something. (: i had an awesome bday but i invited 6 of my closest frends :D i had a sleep over rented 2 movies went swimmming had a mud pit if u lost one of the many games i had set up u had to jump in thre mudpit i had a trampoline and an egg fight then after that me and my bestest frind went to the mall so we could spend some moolah it was fun but it was my 12 bday party and my bday is in august too :D im turning 13 in august also :D Check out some local hotels. There are usually some cool ones with pools, hot tubs, pool tables, a variety of stuff, depending on where you live. You could easily get two rooms on that budget (one for your parents, but it could be adjoining so that they don't bother you but can still be there just in case) and the rest of you in the other room. And hotels are always fun! You can do all the things you would at a normal sleepover, but have the hotel experience (plus a pool). I am turning 16 in 2 months and unlike you I am having a huge guest list with about 90 people invited. When i turned 13 two of my closest friends came over and we had movie nigh. After we watched movies we had a sleepover. You should have a movie night. Google it and see what party tips there are for movie nights. You do not have to do something extravagant to have a great time. Happy Bday and Good Luck! For my 13th birthday party we invited a makeup artist over (not an expensive one, just mary kay or something) and she brought little kits for everyone and showed us how to do mayeup and hair and we got all free samples and stuff, it was awesome! You could always just do a nice fancy dinner and have everyone dress up formally and either go out or order/cook a nice meal if it needs to be cheaper. Spa days are always fun - pick up some face masks, nail polishes, body treatments etc... I'm sure whatever you do will be fine! My sister just went to a 16th birthday party and the parents got a limo to take them to a small restaurant for dinner :) i recomend fear factor but here are some more ideas |
