So ready to meet my son?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant i had my daughter at 36 weeks so it seem like a long pregnancy!! His rooms ready clothes all washed and ironed crib up and made carry cot up and made in the lounge bags for me and my daughter are packed snacks for my husband etc, house is spotless what else can i do to get him here.I lost my mucus plug last night but still nothing!! Anyone else realy ready and organized??

I felt the same way with my 1st pregnancy!!! I would compuslsivly go in her room to make sure it was perfect!!!

Hi. I just loved reading this. I'm also 39 weeks pregnant and have been getting ready for my little boy too for awhile. I've cleaned my floors and done laundry and am trying to keep the house spotless which is almost imposible with a almost 4 year old. His room is also ready..well its been ready for awhile. I also lost some of my mucas plug last week and some more of it the other day. I'm also dilated to 1 1/2 cent. so the doctor is keeping a eye on me. Good luck with your pregnancy. Your little one will be here in no time. I guess for now try to relax and enjoy the time with your daughter and husband. I know that's easy anough to say...and maybe i should take that advice too:) Take care!

with my last two i had my bags packed at 4 mths the day before i went in to labour with my daughter i was building cots and ironing went to bed at 11 started at 2 with my son everything was a bit crazy because i went the day before due date to the hostpital for a mem sweep and she told me i would go into labour that night as my waters were bulging so i set everything up sorted out milk bottles his moses basket and put my bag in the hall ready and my other half said to me dont get your hopes up with going into labour and went to bed 9.30pm i was up at 12.30am i had started but im 26 weeks now and i havent packed a thing yet i go on hols in 3 weeks so i will start after than to get things ready but both times ive lost my plug as soon as ive gone into labour so hopefully you will go into labour in the next day or too or it might come on my birthday 3rd june i will be 30 all the best wishes for you and your family and your bundle of joy ready to arrive

YES! I am so ready! I am close to 39 and half weeks and the doctors have been telling me, anytime now! for close to 3 weeks. On top of that, I have been having false labor everyday for about 2 of those weeks. I am plum tuckered out. I just want to have this child!! But I am keeping my spirits up, reminding myself that everything happens for a reason. But oh my goodness. And, yes, I am completely ready to an insane degree. Four times I have had to stop myself from opening up diapers.

I'm only 33 weeks and i'm ready and it has nothing to do with being organised cause i'm normally a bit of a scatter brain it's just that i am soooooooooooo excited about meeting my baby it's been a long wait. lol
As for your little one it can't be that much longer, maybe a little passion will help him along and i'm guessing your husband/partner will be thrilled and surprised as well.

My due date is TODAY!!! and I don't think my little girl will be making an appearance.
Like you said everything is ready, bags packed, clothes washed, change table, bassinet, clean house... just no baby. :(

It's kind of depressing, but I like to think that I make such a good warm home for her in my belly that she doesn't want to leave yet.

I feel the same way too! My son's room is ready, my bag is packed, all his cloths are washed my room is clean and I'm only 38 weeks. I cant possible think of going two more weeks. I go to the doctor on Thursday for her to strip my membranes. I hope it works. Good luck to you. Your little guy will be here in no time. It doesn't help that my bf and 41/2 year old daughter are so anxious too. So we're all going crazy GOOD LUCK!

Sounds like that nesting instinct has kicked in. Good luck I hope you go into labor any time now. I was never that organized. With my first one the only reason my bag was packed is because we had moved not 3 weeks before I was due. With this one I'm over half way done and not even close to ready lol.

I feel the same way. I am 38.5 weeks and have been in early labor since 35 weeks. I just knew the baby would be here by now. We have been organized and had everything ready to go for over three weeks. The waiting is just agonizing.

Try eating a fresh pineapple it worked for me it took 24 hrs but my waters broke and it has worked for a few of my friends too.

i am where u are..i am 39 weeks going to be 40 weeks soon and i can not wait to see my son too.this is my first baby..it like it never ends.goodluck

I feel the same way. I'm 37 weeks and my other sons were all 2 weeks early so I can't wait to see son #4.
