Anyone who wants to share this with family, friends, classes, etc. may share it.

I am glad ya'll like it
It almost put me to tears to.

Yes, it is very good. This would make a great Memorial Day poem to read to my class at school next year. May I use it? It does need a title, how about "Heaven is never too far"?

IT'S AN AWESOME POEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

that's amazing and emotional, but very good bravo

That was nice. The part where the little girl started to talk about the roadside bomb kinda reminded me of the poem in Meet The Parents, "...as the cancer ate away at your body like an unstoppable rebel force..."

I really liked it, do you know the author? =)!

Never seen it before but it's okay none-the-less. A-B-C-B. Heh.

it is very beautifull poem

Hopefully you also accept answers from non-poets.

When I first started reading, I thought it was somewhat short with the sentences; I almost gave up reading.

But, I decided to continue, anyway. The more I read, the more I was happy I decided to continue reading.

Needless to say, some tears started welling-up in my eyes about how the girl could handle the eternal separation from her daddy.

The person who wrote it definitely has their heart in the right place.

It is a touching poem, without assigning blame, positive or negative, for the War in Iraq. I wish everybody could/would read this.

OMG that is the BEST poem I have ever heard! I cried a little bit!

If you made that you are MAD talented

Thats Crap,
Rock N' Roll!, Rock N' Roll!!
OOOOOOH YEAH!!!!

No, I don't like it.

I don't like it. It's too greeting card cookie cutter sentimentalist for me. Anything with that stiff rhyme scheme rubs me the wrong way, especially when it's so glossy and predictable. Yuck
