I say that devils do exist and do live with us, i can say this by sure as i have seen them many times.
firstly it was when i was in 8th standard and we all were going for a school trip and had to come to school by 1 O clock as our bus was timed at 1.30, i was there by 12.30 and a few of my friends were there too, and by some problem our bus was late and were asked to sleep in the school as at any time our bus might come. I had to use the toilet and so got up and went our toilets were a bit far from the school building and I had to walk a small distance, as I was walking I say some one in the white dress walking there, i thought it was one our sister(NUN) and thought to go and talk with her, as I was walking towards her she vanished, for that instance I got fainted and when I got up was in the class and my friends and sisters were standing besides me, I had a very high temp, they asked me what happened and i said what I saw one of the nun took the cross from her neck and gave it to me, it took three weeks for me to get well this was my first meet with a devil.......

Years passed but I never forgot that night and after many years in my inter +2, this thing again happened this time it was in my home, my mom died when i was 8 years and I stayed with my dad then onwards,
my home was not that big but was very much big for we 2 it was a 3 bed room house and my dad and I had a room for each, that night dad was on a business trip and I had to stay alone, as I was alone I went to bed early my 9 pm and had a sound sleep, then in the middle of my sleep I was woke up by some one I got up to see no one around I thought I was all in my dream and tried to get back to sleep but at some point in my brain I still felt as some one woke me by holding shoulder, after some time I heard some kind of sound under my bed I got up in a hurry and switched the light on, and again there was none around. I was frightened and not knowing what to do, I came out of my room and noticed that something moving around in dark, I dared a lot and switched the light on then there was again nothing, I made my mind and came out of the home to find what really it was, it was moving on the road so I followed it till the it reached the grave yard I had no dare to enter the grave yard but I was it vanish in the grave yard at my mothers tomb, I was shocked and waited for that thing to return, and slowing the daylight was gaining鈥? and from that day it never came back until last month鈥︹€︹€︹€?. It does not sound like you have an encounter with the Devil, as the title says, but it does say you met with one or more spirits.
It is slightly possible that you met what many call a ghost, meaning the wandering spirit of someone who died, but this is extremely rare, whereas the possibility of meeting with spirits is the opposite, as they exist all around the world.
Jinns, also called fallen angels, are common and many people, like you, will occasionally see and react to them, while a few people can regularly interact with them. This most often happens in older societies, such as in India, Pakistan, and across the Middle East, where the people have had many centuries of experience.
There are both good and bad jinns. (also called djin)
Even the best of jinns are not truly good, but jinns can be either good or bad. There is a clear division between them, with some being good, and the others bad, but there are also levels in each, some good ones being better than others, and some bad ones being worse than other bad ones. You seem to have met at least one from the good side.
Many of them respect and follow the known religions, while some do not, but those ones may hold respect for one or two humans, whom they consider special.
You are correct in saying they are found in quiet places, or places not regularly frequented by humans, as they generally prefer to avoid people and be left alone, and they remain unseen by most humans, despite their presence.
Curiously, a camera will sometimes capture an image of them, even though the person taking the picture could not see it at the time the photo was taken.
