Little sister, growing up , to fast?

i love my little sister, her name is Ariel. she is 12 years old and adorable, we tell eachother everything. but lately she has been coming home late and is always in her room. what is wrong with her? how can i help? I know she has a boyfriend, cause i met him before and she is always like in a days, the scary thing is that she called me into her room once and told me she had a hangover and sh did something hse regreted? what did she do? she wont tell me. i miss the days when she would be in her stroller and i would take her to the park, i miss it when i read her a story before her nap. i dont know what is wrong with her! p.s. my parents recently split, my mom lives in kentucky with my aunt and my dad ariel and i live here in canada.
i hope you can help me figure out why my little sis ariel is acting like this!
thanks

summer.. ( L )

I think your little sis is acting like that because she needs structure. I have a little sister and she almost went down that same path after our parents split and I felt like it was my job to be force that kept her in line. You need to step up and help your sister because she is too young for this behavior. If you cant do it alone...ask your parents to put aside their differences and come together for the sake of their daughter. Hope This Helped!

The thing she regrets could possible be a sexual act of some kind. She is using alcohol and might be experimenting with drugs. I'm not sure if you are old enough to handle this without adult help (you didn't mention your age). I would be sure to talk to your sister and keep a good relationship with her, hopefully she will open up to you and let you help her.

I have a friend like that, and she did a lot of things, and has hooked up with a lot of bad guys. I talked to her in January and I told I was concerned and that I just wanted to make sure she was ok. She then started to date a really great guy. I figured maybe by me just having a casual tallk with her, and not making it seem like I was attacking her made it easier. I also brought up my own problems in the conversation. Maybe try having a casual talk with her, and then bring some of your problems up too!! That might make her feel like she isnt the only getting attacked or something.

She is craving attention. Children whose mother leaves them, especially girls have a very hard time. First of all, she shouldn't have a boyfriend. And if she has a hangover, she may be trying to cope with her situation using alcohol or drugs, which can lead to dependency. You have to face that she is growing up, but you are right, she is growing up too fast. You need to talk to her and then talk to your father. Children need boundaries, that want boundaries, it makes them feel like someone cares. It doesn't sound like she has too many right now. Talk to your father about setting those boundaries for her.

mayb she just wants to act older than she is hats wat i do when im out wit my cus last nite for example i was out wif her at an 18th bday party and i got airlocked and had a hangover this morning im 13 nd shes 17 but shes the 1 who buys it for me but then i end up going wif/makin out wif way older guys mayb thats all she did nd felt guilty bout cheatin on her bf but i would explain the consequences of havin sex and gettin pregnant just incase
