Cheap accommodation in guernsey?

hi i am wondering if any one out there knows any where in guernsey that is cheap to stay for a week, the week being 9th to 16th august. i planning to go over to see my grandad with my kids as he hasnt met them yet. i'd need either a self catering apartment/cottage or a room for 2 adults a 2 year old and a 6 month old. thanks in advance for your answers (ps i have already looked at various places using the internet such as coco bay hotel le barberie l'atlantique etc but they are a bit to expensive for me, especially since the ferry is going to cost me a fair bit too.)

Think about booking a fixed tent in a campsite. We did this on Jersey last year. We booked campbed and all linen, cooking gear etc with the tent. There was also a nice bar and eating area if you wanted to get good value meals. Plenty of families and also a pool etc.

The links I pasted below give you some idea of prices and facilities. Roughly 50-60 pounds per day basic - weekly rates possible.
