Does my cousin like me?...Seriously I need to know because I am getting mixed signals?

Before you say "ewww, how could you ever marry your cousin, that is incest!" or "the kids will have defects!" ....Listen to me for a second. I have a cousin, she is a girl, and we just met last week in over 10 years. (the last time we saw each other was when I was 10, and she was 6.) Ever since we met last week, we have been inseparable. We have talked on the internet 4 days/nights in a row...usually for about 8 to 10 hours. She and I both have told each other that we do not think of each other as cousins. Instead, her and I have declared to each other that we are each others best friends now. And one night when we were chatting, I said "Your dad would never let you and I be in the same room together." My cousin asked "Why not?" I said ..."because he thinks we are 'kissing cousins'." And then my cousin replied, "But we're not cousins...."

She jokes a lot about us getting "together" but when I asked her if she liked me, and she said No and Yes. She said "no romantically, but yes because you are my other half." I am getting mixed signals from her. Can
someone please tell me what is going on in her mind? Is it possible that she is falling in love with me? I've dated a girl before for 2 and a half years, so i do know what love is. But...I am in love with my cousin. I dont care what anyone says, I am in love with her. I would do anything for her. How do I let her know how I feel about her? Does she like me too? And how long should I wait until I tell her that I love her? Seriously...no negative comments please. Dont judge me, because I cant control who I love, it just happens. Is she afraid to tell me that she likes me too? How should I bring this up when im talking to her. BTW...she couldnt get on the computer tonight, so she called me from her dads phone and we talked for 3 hours until the battery died.

You guys probably just clicked, it happens often when you meet a new friend. I would definitely not pursue this for a variety of reasons, but certainly don't act on this for at least until you get to know her for longer than a week. I mean, you are talking about fighting social stigma and legal issues for a cousin that you only met a week ago. Give yourself some time to cool off. Also, what did she mean when she said you weren't cousins? That was a little confusing.

well its ok that u love ur cousin, nothing is so wierd about it. but what i think after reading ur question that she does love you but as a good friend and she likes to be with u as a good friend. may be she doesnt love you hence she said no romantically but yes..... the other thing is that may be she herself is confused about her feelings for you hence when you asked her she didnt want to say a no so said 'yes and no'

what u can do is let some more time pass and then meet her n tell her what u feel for her and then let things get more clear between u both.

Well.....it's perfectly normal for you two to be attracted to each other..especially if you haven't seen each other in a few years!! And like you said, you were like strangers until you saw each other again.
However...are you two really cousins? Figure that one out first before you do anything about you "love" towards her. I mean, even if you guys are like 3rd cousins it's considered OK to date..i think. Anyway...I'm pretty sure she likes you too but doesn't wanna tell you because....well...she's "your cousin"....but it sounds to me that you guys really like each other....and there's nothing wrong with that. But like I said, you should try figuring out if you two are really cousins...that way you guys can either make it..or break it.....

And what kind of a "cousin" who doesn't like you romantically would call you from her father's cell phone....I mean,...I have met new attractive cousins and we do not get like that....And I have really good looking cousins...but if I can't talk to them for a day, I will not go out of my way to call them or talk to them....

So I think she likes you...
And obviously you like her too...
And if you guys are not cousins, then you guys should give it a try....
