HELP! i vaigly remember a plot of a movie and i have no idea what movie it is!! here's whats it about...?

so there's this movie about a kid (and i think he also has a younger brother and a mom) that move into this house that belongs to this old lady. one day he sees the lady change the time on the grandfather clock. then when he's goes out side he sees that he's gone back in time. there's this pretty garden and all and there he meets this girl.... they bacome best friends or something and they write there initials on a tree... (the little girl is the greatgrandmother of the old lady or it's the old lady when she was a girl... im not that sure) he keeps on going back and forth in time but then one time when he goes back in time he sees that the girl is already an adult... i remember that once when he came back 2 his origional year he saw that the initials were written on the tree and he also finds the girls ice skates hidden in this room...
i hope something sounds familliar cause it's been driving me crazy!!

i dont think i made this up so but it's been i think over 10 years ago that i saw this film...
does anyone know the name of the tv series where u can send a story and they'll make a short film about it? because it might b from there but i can't remember the name of the series.... if it is from there it'ld make sence why i can't find it anywhere... =[

The movie your describing sounds like a movie I saw called "An angel for May"

It's about a boy that travels back in time, and meets a young girl named May during a war, they become friends, then get seperated. He returns back in time, but couldn't find her. Returning to his present time, he finds May, but she is a very old woman.

I followed the Wikipedia link to the page about time travel movies, and I didn't see your film there. I know and have seen nearly every one of those movies, as I dearly love time travel films of all types. I didn't see a match.

The movie you describe sounds very intriguing, and I'd love to know what the title is so that I can watch for it. So, I'll be back to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Again, I've seen many films on this topic, and this is completely unknown, meaning I've never read the description anywhere else.
