Are you one of these ladies who are afraid of a mammogram, well don't worry all is in hand?

Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, but
there is no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each
day for a week preceding the exam and doing the following
practice exercises, you will be totally prepared for the
test, and best of all, you can do these simple practice
exercises right in your home

Exercise 1:
Open your refrigerator door and insert one breast
between the door and the main box. Have one of your strongest
friends slam the door shut as hard as possible and lean on the
door for good measure. Hold that position for five seconds.
Repeat again in case the first time wasn't effective enough.

Exercise 2:
Visit your garage at 3 AM when the temperature of
the cement floor is just perfect.
Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the
floor with one breast wedged under the rear tire of the car.
Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is
sufficiently flattened and chilled. Turn over and repeat for
the other breast.

Exercise 3:
Invite a stranger into the room. Press the bookends
against one of your breasts. Smash the bookends together as
hard as you can. Set an appointment with the stranger to meet
next year and do it again.

I'm not afraid of them, but what you described is just how it feels. I had mine two weeks ago. I'm a breast cancer survivor and I now know how important it is to get those boobies smashed by strangers. If I didn't laugh about it, it wouldn't be any fun.

Why is it that the men do not have to go through this type of testing for testicular cancer? I betcha if they did, the medical profession would soon come up with less painful way to do the grams.

This has always been my favorite joke, especially the rear tire one.

That's just about the size of it. LOL. I had an experience two
years ago, following a mammagram, where I discovered the
next day when showering, that I had a tingling in one of my
breasts, and it remains to this day. I actually had some nerves
affected by the 'exam'. So now I tell the technician about it,
and she doesn't put as firm a 'clamp' down, so I don't exper-
ience the severe pain I used to. Not that it's pleasant, by any
means. But just not enough to bring tears to my eyes. So I
know they don't have to torture a person to get the same re-
sults as a lighter application will bring about the same. So
just tell them you are tender, and maybe they will take pity.
