*does my COUSIN like me?*?

My cousin is 16. I am 20. We saw each other at a wedding last week, and our families stayed at the same hotel. Her and I left our familes and went outside by the pool and we talked for about 2 hours. This was the first time her and I had seen or talked to each other since 12 years. (she was 4, I was 8)
Then, the next night, her and went to the media room at our hotel and talked from 11 pm - 5 am. Her and I are now EXTREMELY close. Two nights ago, we talked on the internet for about 7 hours. Then...last night we talked from 4 pm-4 am. ...We seriously talked for 12 hours on the internet...I couldnt believe I actually talked to someone that long. Here is the thing though: I think she likes me...more than a cousin/friend. She told me that when she met me that she got this surge in her body that told her she needed to talk to me. Also, at the hotel and on the internet conversations we've had, she has joked around about her and I dating.

Last night we were talking about someone in our family who acts nice at family reunions, but then at home this person acts like a jerk. So, my cousin says to me "So how do if this is the real you?" I said, "Well...what do you mean?" She said "How do I know that you being so charming isn't an act? Most guys are manipulative. You've done a pretty good job of 'hook, line, and sinker'" (was she trying to say that I have "caught" her?) I said, "I'm not acting...I always act this way, lol." ---So my question is...does my cousin have the hots for me? Does my cousin want to date me or something? BTW, she mentioned to me that she is afraid of love. What is going on here??? We have never had a cousin-type relationship. ...BTW, just answer the question. I am not asking if I should date my cousin, so no hateful answers please. I want to know if my cousin likes me more than a friend/cousin.

I agree, it does sound A LOT like she likes you but it could just be that you've been kind to her and maybe she hasn't known that before? I've read about younger girls 'being attracted' to male family members. From memory it has something to do with comfort or something? I suppose it's like a safety thing forming a connecting with a family member because you can't really lose them... if that makes any sense? Just keep being nice but perhaps distance yourself a little... It's a difficult situation but you being older it's kind of your responsibility to control the situation. It's not unusual for girls of that age to act strangely :) so maybe just keep an eye on her and if you feel she's crossing the line you have to let her know.
