Am I getting upset for nothing?

My mother is at it again where she has told me ...yet again as if she has not for the last 22years how stupid,ugly & fat that I am. She knew I was writing a final exam at University today & had said that I would never make it through because I am not like her other two daugthers (we all from same parents-mom & dad).

Yet when she needs something its donw, when they need something its done. I have even given up hope on passing my final exams & really not interested in my studies anymore because of her.

She always tells me that Ill never ever find a husband & how pathetic & uselss I am,to a point where I spend half my time alone up in my room

My sister had gotten divorced last year & has started going out with a guy 'as friends', she always tells me that see how pretty she is & you will never get there, see how lucky she is to have met someone like that & goes on.

it makes me feel bad & cant even tell her how I feel,even when people around because she accuses me of lying

I broke up last year after 2years of dating a guy.

She always tells me that I lack faith in God thats why I cannot cry. Told her that you do not only need faith to cry,anyone & everyone has a right to cry.But for some odd reason I cannot cry.

IS there something really wrong with me?

You are listening to her and allowing her words to bring you down. She is a stupid unwise abusive woman and youre giving her too much of your attention. You would be better off moving out and throughout your life find positive people to be around.
Dont give up on college because of her.
Get away from her as soon as you can and do not look back.

You should tell her how you feel and that you need a mother figure to respect you and love you. Tell her that if she doesn't start acting like a mother, you won't visit/talk to her and she will miss out on what a beautiful, talented daughter she has.

Your Mother has the problem. She is horrible to treat you that way. If you can cut ties with her. If you can't you have to learn to stand up to her. Tell her you will refuse to be talked to that way. If she continues hang - up or walk away. Not all mothers are wonderful. You are a good person who deserves happiness. If you are at school they might provide FREE counseling. GOOD-LUCK.
