Sex after baby....was it the same for you? men please answer!?

since i had the boys my husband is not "into" me anymore. at first i thought it was just because he wasnt feeling well. (we have all been sick lately) but last night i asked him about it. he said that he just couldnt think of me the same. that thats what his boys came out of....and he just couldnt get that out of his head. he was in the room when i gave birth (vaginally) and after saying he didnt want to look when the doc told him to take pictures he did....so he saw a lot more than he had planned.
when i met him i already had a daughter....so he knew there was already one kid that came through there...but i guess it was just that he didnt see it???
has anyone had an experience with this? what can i do to get his mind off of it? can i?
like i told him last night....if i had known it would have this effect i would have made him wait in the hall. its not that we arent having sex at all but like a couple times a week is it. i want the pre-babies sex life back!!! help!

Well my girl just had our little boy about a month ago. Her birth was a lot easier and although I was there in the room with her I didnt see her give birth to my boy. Anyway, we actually "did it" last night and it was great! lol. Maybe your husband is a little tramatized about the whole ordeal. Give him a little more time. Try to spice things up in the bedroom to get him more in the room so he can get all of that off his mind.

Your husband needs some therapy. It is in his mind and only someone who knows the mind can help him. It is a reasoning thing and he needs guidance to move his mind in the correct direction. If it means anything ... Elvis Presley suffered from the same phobia.

that is just crazy!!! cuz i to had twins, and like when I would breeastfeed them, my husband would want me more. it was weird. so i kno in a way where your coming from. only kinda oppisite.lol. i dunno, anyhow...after seeing the birth i think its just going to take some time. its prob. natural that he feels like that. you probably cant get his mind off of it unless you just get him so "fired up" and "attack" him.lol. Yea about your daughter that isnt his.he wasnt there. and he was fine with sex. your boys hes not into it. why? prob cuz he was there. and seen more then he bargained for. i just asked my husband about this. he said he saw everything( he also videotaped) and he said it never even came into his head about something like that before we had sex. he said it might be a cover up for another reason why he dont wannna have sex. i dont kno...that was just a guys opinion. anyways. i hope it gets back to good...but i always say our kids are like little sex policee!!

Well you wanted men to answer am I'm not a man but I can tell you that I don't know anyone that has had that issue. I know that after childbirth most of my friends and self included just don't have sex as often as before. We (husband and self)are usually just more tired from taking care of the 4 kids. A couple of times a week is the average for married couples. He may need counseling for the birth/sex issue that he is having.
