GOD always loses out to SEX?

If you don't believe God, please save the mocery and degarding for the R&S section. Lets all be civil here please folks.

I've actually heard many people say that they've turned their backs on God strickly because of sex. They won't to just completely indulge as much as possible. But they still believe in GOD. Now my question is. . .why? if you believe in God, a creator. I'm guessing you believe that the life we live was given to us for a legit reason/meaning. There are things we do and don't do. And there's something more for us at the end of our lives.

We will all eventually "MEET OUR MAKER" I guess. Why would you want to sacrifce your beliefs and I guess God for something so not worth like screwing-around? aren't you losing more then you gain at the end? isn't that just emegency room prayer?

Has anyone had this kind of experience?

are you trying to say that if we believe in God and his beliefs we should only have sex while married and done other wise we are sacrificing our beliefs and when we meet our maker he will judge us?

i feel we are born in un perfect world and sex is part of being alive and feeling we are human...I believe in God and his word but honestly I would have sex with out being married, for the reason that i refuse to be married but do enjoy sex..

Now am not promiscuous its been a loooong while since i actually had sex, but if i feel comtrouble with a man and have special feelings for him I will consent to sex..

Does that make me a bad person or less of a person or love God less NO...its my own personal choice ..

In the Ten Commandments (God's rules), no where does it state that you can not have premarital sex. He does say You shall not commit adultery & You shall not covet your neighbor's house.

Everything else that came after this are MAN made rules and moral values foisted upon us.

God created humans as sensual beings and from the beginning of times, he knew us for who we are. Jesus Christ died for all sins.... and John 3:16 tells us that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and whosoever believith in him shall have peace and everlasting life"...

I understand your name, the over thinker. All of it is worth it in the end. Your WILL meet God in the end and dont wait till your dying to believe in him because you will live in Hell for enternity. So overthink about that

I am a spiritual person and I am strong in my beliefs. I know through my testimony that God is our Father and Jesus Christ lives. I know that we were put here on earth by our own free will to test our faith in Him and receive a mortal body. God created us and all that we have. I also know that when Adam and Eve were set on earth, they were commanded to live by His law and to populate the earth, spreading His gospel. I also know that the atonement of Jesus Christ is a gift given to us by Him, and would be meaningless if Eve didn't bite the forbidden fruit, creating sin. How would we prove our faith in Him if there was no sin? No choices to be made? When we are baptized and we are immersed in water, it symbolizes the death of Jesus Christ, and when we come back above the water it symbolizes His Resurrection and we are cleaned of sin. It's all part of the plan my friend. Sex is also part of who we are. He created us to populate the earth, spread His gospel, and live by His commandments just like He commanded Adam and Eve......so other spirits have the chance to come to earth, receive a mortal body, prove their faith, and we'll all be judged by Jesus Christ in the end.
Do I think I'll go to hell because I've had sex out of wedlock in my past? No.

You're definitely right... sex is the main reason a lot of people I know don't even go to church anymore because they either feel guilty for don't want to feel guilty.

I am in a long term relationship, and we actually met through church. I'd recently started living my life for God and he seemed like a blessing that came after that... So part of the reason that keeps me going with my spiritual promises is the fact that I wouldn't even have this wonderful person if it weren't for Him, you know? We plan on getting married in about 2 years and we're coming up on our second anniversary in a couple of months! It would be ridiculous to give up now. I want a blessed marriage with happiness, trust, and a great sex life! All things that God promise. :) Don't get me wrong, it's HARD! Especially when you have so much... chemistry? haha. Whenever we mess up or might, we talk about things.. about why we're waiting and how amazing our lives will be because of it.

If we believe God created us then we also have to believe that God created sex not only for procreation but to be a glorious sensuous experience.

Naturally God meant for us to have that experience within a monogamous loving permanent relationship.

We have already learned and will continue to learn of the terrrible STD's when we go outside the boundaries that have been made.

Anyone who turns away from God totally, whether it be in a sexual way or otherwise, is already lost and they will never care whether they go to Hell or otherwise because they don't believe in the consequences of their actions.

I don't think that God will lose out to sex because he already has the people who worship Him in every way. He won't want those who are not prepared to give up their sinful ways.
