When has the government fixed everything you needed?

I figured this question finally had to be asked! I keep seeing people say my { } insert your choice, will do this for me, or that for me, I am not sure where all you guys grew up but lemme tell you, I grew up as a boy until age 13 in Cuba province of La Habana. My father worked day and night for us to get food and some clothing in the tobacco fields, we had no toys or bicycles, we lived in a small 2 room house with dirt floors. I came to America at 17 on a foriegn exchange program through the University of North Texas. I met and married my wife. I am now a citizen. I have worked hard, and still I have not completed all my education. I am trying to understand how Americans who have so many opportunities believe that ONE MAN, or ONE woman will make their dreams happen? For me, as a boy in Cuba I dreamed one day my kids would have a bicycle. Now both my boys do. We are not rich except I feel rich.

notice no Obama people are answering yet, what is that about I wonder. Go to Cuba try getting anyone to "help" you there!

It's NOT up to the Govenment to "give us" what we need. That's up to Us ! The Government can make it alittle EASIER (SOMEtimes)... -But DON'T count on it !!! If You really want something Done & Done RIGHT, you gotta go out & DO it- Yourself !!! :)
