Please help me understand this dream I had. What does it mean?

A half goat, half man, (like from Shakespeare) was measuring me. By the measurements he took, he could tell what kind of person I was and what I was thinking. He told me I was a very moody person, shifting my moods all the time and I could be very selfish. He was nice about it and was telling me not to worry, because every one could be selfish. Then my husband (in real life) came in the room and got mad about this.
Then my husband (in real life) and I got married (but it felt like the first time getting married). He then surprised me by carrying me outside where their was beautiful plants and it looked like a castle. Their was a symphony dressed in white playing my favorite song, it was so sweet. We then got into a bronco with my husbands dad and some others, that I didn't know, but I felt like they were family. ( I felt it was very odd since I haven't really met my husbands dad, he died when my husband was 17).

So we were on our way, when my husband turned into a mouse, I wasn't frightened by this, it seemed normal. I thought he was mad since he crawled on the floor to sleep, I felt like he usually slept in my pocket.

We then stopped in this town where their was a cement factory that made cement columns. The people of the town made houses out of these columns and weird sculptures. This town was very dry with sand, large rocks and it was just boring. ( This is the second time I have dreamed about this town)

We then ended up at a hospital or hotel, I am not sure exactly what it was. I saw people that I went to high school with, but they weren't people that I was friends with, they had kids and I didn't. I am not sure why I was their.

Then I woke up.

I'm no expert here, but this is my interpretation of what it means.
Based on that the measurments reflect who you are, maybe you place a lot of importance on looks and body image. What the Goatman said about you are probably the two things that you don't like about yourself, but maybe you find yourself making excuses for. As for the wedding, maybe you feel like your first wedding didn't live up to your expectations, so you've created one that does. Also, seeing your husband's father may reflect your desire to reconnect with your husband, or your husbands family. I interpret the whole mouse thing as you feeling like you make your husband feel small, and you make him feel small because you want him to be closer to you, but really you push him away. The whole high school thing may be a manifestation of your desire to be a part of a certain group in high school, and you feel that they have something you want and don't have.

I could be totally off base here, because I don't know you. Please know I mean no offense, that's just how I would interpret that kind of dream.

wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow owow wowowowowowowowwowoowowwowow thats crazy but it is just a dream!

i think it seems like how you were so happy wiht you marriage and new life at first, but now you are bored and it is dulled. you almost want to go back to your old life with old friends even though you love your husband. like, you would want to go woth him to a time whne things werent nearly as boring.

I have answered this SOOOO many times!

NO ONE can interpret your dreams or tell you what they mean, except YOU. Listen not to those who say they can. Don鈥檛 bother with dream books, dream dictionaries, internet 鈥渄ream meaning鈥?web sites that tell you to look for codes or symbols or hidden mysteries in dreams. There are no such things. Dreams are straightforward, just like your waking thoughts.

There is always a "purpose" to a dream. Everything that human beings thing, feel, or do has a purpose. It is part of what Dr. Alfred Adler called "the psychology of use."

Dreams don't come to you from the blue (or from a fictional "subconscious"). You make them up. You create them, just as you create your thoughts.

The purpose of your dreams while you are asleep is the same as your thoughts while you are awake. Their purpose is to solve your problems. (Your mind has other purposes as well as you create thoughts to give meaning to events in your life and to organize all your thoughts into a belief system.)

Figure out the purpose of a dream and you have its meaning. No one else can tell you what a dream means or interpret it for you. There are no codes or symbols in dreams. Dreams do not arise from your "subconscious" (the proper term is "preconscious") nor do they foretell the future.

Dreams are thoughts while you sleep, solving your problems. Please, write this down so I won't have to explain it again!

This character who answered just above me sounds vaguely knowledgable but does a disservice to the field of psychology. For example, the preconscious and the subconscious are two totally different things. You can figure that out simply from looking up each item on wikipedia. While I do agree that a dream--a system of personal symbols--is largely about your personal feelings with regard to it and this system, another person can still help you unpack what you yourself cannot see. I wrote my analysis of your dream earlier, but either you or a random act of the internet erased it. If it was you, I'd ask you to think about why you might have erased it. It doesnt bother me, but it does intrigue me.
