I have no best friends!!! =[?

I have no best friends im in the 9th grade and I feel so out of the sync with others who have bestfriends...I've known my closest friend leslie in 1st grade and we've been friends since but since 13 [now 15] shes been changing doing webcam with guys....
she sneaks out of her house and makeouts with guys shes meets that day [who say there 20 then next day said he was 18 once did weed and other drugs] shes so boy crazy its like it takes over her life if she isnt talking to a guy who says shes sexy or beautiful she feels really horrible and shes looking for guys...It's so annoying because it consumes her so much and i slept over this week at her house and we were in the living room wacthing t.v. and one of her guy friends came first they were wacthing the movie but then all they would do is makeout [akward for me]and it happens all the time we are just so different not as boy crazy im a lot more independent i dont know all my other friends are just school friends...And my friend Leslie

will not change help!!!!

Aww honey I'm so sorry. This sucks. I've been there and the only thing you can do is stay strong and independent. Does your friend realize that she pbly has other traits than her looks? It seems as though her looks and boys is only whats on her mind and thats definitely the wrong track to be going on. You just started high school and you have so much time to find someone suitable for you. Keep in mind your not alone when it comes to not wantin to do drugs and be all on boys...Their ARE other ppl who know that its not all about that ( the drugs..ever). Mingle girlie and stay positive. I know its hard because Leslie is what your used to, but dont settle for less. Friends can be made everywhere. Your not gonna make a best friend over night but you have to start somewhere. Small talks here and there and keep in mind no one is gonna be like Leslie and not everyone is like her either. Good Luck hun. Dont stress it though.

What ever you do, do not do what this girl is doing, because in the end you will not like yourself, and have low self esteem (like she dose) . Stay independent... start going to after school programs... that's a great place to make friends after school. And I think you should tell her to clean up her act or yall can't be friends... because i would hate if you followed her lead.

You are only in 9th grade, you'll see that as High School progresses you'll meet more people that have your interests. All I can say is NEVER let anybody influence you in a bad way, don't start becoming like your friend Leslie because that type of girl is the one that gets pregnant really young and then regrets doing what she did, or simply creates a bad reputation. Try to meet people and don't look for a "best friend", make as many friends as possible and you'll see that you'll find your favorite person =)

honestly its better to have NO best friend than one that you don't feel comfortable with. I had a best friend from 1st grade to 8th grade. we were SO CLOSE that people thought we would stay friends forever. then high school came and we completely drifted apart. honestly i don't even know why it happened but people change and theres nothing you can do about it. if u dont feel comfortable just say hi and bye and dont get too close to her cause she doesnt sound like a real friend anyway. a real friend is someone who you can tell anything you feel at the moment and theyll listen to you and offer advice and someone who you trust completely. Thankfully I met my true best friend when i was in 10th grade and it's been 4 yrs we're closer than ever. Don't worry time will come !! =)
