Would you live in res with 1 other person or 3 other people?

I am going to Ryerson University in Toronto starting September. By June 5, I have to decide which res I am going to be staying at... here is a link to a page that compares all the residences:
http://www.ryerson.ca/studentservices/ho...

I think I'm leaning towards Pitman Hall, either the paired or the apartment. I don't want a single because I want to meet people and have fun.

Which one do you think I should go for and why?

*keep in mind...*
- the apartment has a kitchen and a sitting area, with 4 seperate rooms for beds, and a seperate washroom (you can see the floor plan if you click the link)
- the paired has two seperate rooms, a very small sitting area and a washroom
- money is not really an option in my decision

I've lived in Rez for 3 years. I'd go with the 4-bedroom apartment because you'll meet lots of people and the odds of being stuck with a roomie you can't get along with is less. Even though I've moved out of Rez now, I still live with 3 people. It's an awesome experience.

You will meet more people, have more fun and have more potential to bring other new friends home to hang out than you would if you got paired up with one roomie who is not there for the party.

If you want to meet people and make friends, do for the 4 person suite. The odds favor you clicking with a good friend in a larger group. In the 2 person suite, if you dislike that person, you are stuck with zero options.

If you go with the two room you are going to be stuck with one person all the time. With the five you should develop friendships with at least several of then, doubling the opportunity to study and have fun.pp

If you are social butterfly and like to be around others - go for the apartment. Three other roommates and more areas to "hang out" such as the kitchen means there should always be someone around. It is also nice to have a kitchen since the dorm food gets boring after awhile and you'll be able to invite friends over with the extra space to eat or chat.

If you want more privacy or want a quieter place to study, go for the paired rooms. This can be hit or miss but with only 1 roommate, it is much easier to avoid them if you don't become best of friends. There still will be plenty of times when you'll be alone - few people have the exact same schedules in college.

You are lucky that both options include seperate sleeping areas - I had to share a dorm with another person in the same room.
