Why are the numbers so skewed in this chat room ? 85% of the country is disatisfied,?

and yet in this political "Answers" room.. it's like an extension of Fox news? why is that... I travel and deal with a lot of people and I love to talk politics.. for every "1" right winger i meet.. I meet 20 people that self identify as moderate, democrat,independent, etc... why is yahoo so constantly right wing ?

I know it's entertainment but I do find it interesting that so many "hard' right" people hang in here... and me saying so doesn't mean that I'm a liberal ???????? that's what I'm talking about. I'm a moderate but because I don't bleat along with you and yours you call me a liberal ...get it?

It occurs to me that most of the answers show, the people rely on the news blogs for their information, or they just don't like whatever party in in control of government. Most are not concerned about the issues, but are whether the candidate is black or white, democrat or repubican, male or female and if they voted to go to war. I personally, want to know what they are willing to do to ease the problems of our nation,I.E., the cost of living, high gas and food prices and the ever growing medical care dilema caused by the red tape of medicare for our older generation. There are too many posts of "what will happen if.." and not enough trying to offer advice and questions on how to improve the standard of life in the U.S. Only time will tell us what will happen if a certain person is elected, but not what will if the other is. Get down to reality and try to help instead of brow-beating someone because they don't believe the way you do.

The majority of the country is moderate, yes, but not leftist as you and many others what to believe.

I too have a job where I literally come in contact with several dozen people a day. Sure, people are dissatisfied with the economy, fuel and food prices and the threats of terrorism. But, not a single one wants a socialist or communist government to replace ours.

Dude, this is the best country in the land. You get from it what you put into it. Entitlements are killing America economical and socially.
