Should I call again, about the room? |
me and my fiance was looking around to find a nice place for us to move in together, we found a couple at age 27 who is renting the whole upstairs of there house out for $600 a month one bedroom a bath and a nice loft looking down below. well we went to see it saterday and told them that we will let them know by monday if we want the room. it was pretty obviouse we did but my fiance wanted to look at a apartment too. well we decided that we wanted the room and called him yesterday saying we are happy to take it and would like to arrange a time to meet up and give him the first payment. we can't go into the nighborhood without escort right now. but he didn't answer, so I called him again today at luch to let him know, and again he didn't answer. I wanted to pay him saterday, I mean honestly a loft on the water and they are replacing the floor the kitchen and all kinds of things. but we would of liked to have our own place but the apartments was being rude and wasn't as nice. I'd call as much as i liked till he answered. But you did leave messages, right? You could try calling again tonight or maybe wait until tomorrow. If he acts like you've called too many times, make up some excuse about you worrying he didn't get your messages. Hopefully, he isn't avoiding you because he already rented it out.... perhaps you should reconsider knowing that it gets hit by tornados? Either way, you have to make it happen so theres nothing wrong with ringing again and how is he going to know you rang before plus you are only keeping your promise of ringing him anyway. Go for it (if you dont mind tornados!) No, call him again. If there was tornandos, he may be busy with other things and put everything on hold. In the next message, let him know your intentions and say you will call again tomorrow. That way, if anything is wrong, he'll call you back so you won't keep calling. The place sounds wonderful BTW! |
