I'm obsessed with meeting a hunky intelligent German man!?

Anyone who has dated a genuine German, what was your experience with them? I have had a fetish with Germans all my life, and yet people are always telling me how arrogant, cold, and humourless they are. And yet they have yielded people such as Beethoven, Nietzsche, Bach, Emmerich, Herzog, Dietrich, Schopenhauer, Einstein, Kepler,Mendelssohn, Goethe, Hermann Hesse, The Brothers Grimm, Porsche, Offenbach, Pachelbel, Strauss, Brahms, Stuck, Herder, and Edith Stein just to name a few, let alone all the other European and Jewish Germans for which there is no room here. I find Germans amazing people with enormous intellect and depth (what I look for in a man most of all). I also like the nordic look, tall, blonde, blue eyed, so to me a well balanced German or even Scandinavian would be simply Heaven On A Stick! I am of Italian/Spanish heritage living in Sydney, Australia.

Hey Jenn, thanks for your input and no I'm not offended, however Hitler is the only real Bad German in German history. Maybe familiarise yourself with the names I wrote in my question. I am not racist in any way, shape or form. The nicest, most cultured man I've been out with was a Turk. I have dated a Greek, two Aussies, an Englishman and married (and divorced A Scotsman). I'm not talking out of my *** in that case. It is simply a fetish and not the yardstick by which I measure men at all. I'll go out with a Columbian monkey if they hold my interest and make my heart race!

I live in Germany, and there's something special about them that American men don't have. They're definitely a lot more sexual and interesting than American men. It's hard to explain, but I have yet to be disappointed. Yes, my ex is German, and he's an a$$hole, but I am still incredibly attracted to them. You just need to pick up and move here. DO IT!

You are describing my husband to a tee.. sorry you can't have him. He's not anything like what people describe German men to be,, mine is loyal, and a hard worker. But to be honest I tribute that to the way he was raised rather than being German. You may want to judge a man as good and bad cause there is good and bad in all nationalities..Best wishes and Good luck

First: We are not arrogant, cold or humourless

Second, and even more important: Hitler was Austrian!!!! Not German

ahahahahahaaaaa
