So being on the Poms team has always been my dream. I tried out for it at the public school that is for my district and I didn鈥檛 make the team. I went into a state of depression. I cried, I didn鈥檛 do my homework, I was just鈥otally depressed. I felt awful. I鈥檝e already had some OCD, ADD, mild depression, other stress disorders, and some social awkwardness but not too much. The Poms team is popular, elite, they get tons of friends and boyfriends鈥 know because I know people who have been on the team. So I got out of my state of depression when I MADE THE POMS TEAM at another public school later on鈥his one wasn鈥檛 in my district. For once in as long as I can remember, I was truly happy with my life. I felt safe. I felt comfortable in my own skin. I wouldn鈥檛 want anyone else鈥檚 life more than mine. I love Poms with a burning passion. Dancing is my passion! I practice Poms every day, even though I haven鈥檛 even had my first meeting with the Poms team yet. I LOVE it, and it鈥檚 the only thing that keeps me going now. But then suddenly鈥y parents came up to my room and asked to talk to me today. They said that there was no way they could drive me to the school where I would be on Poms in the wintertime. That school doesn鈥檛 have a bus system that goes to our house since we do not live in the district. I can鈥檛 get a ride from anyone since no one who would be going to that school lives near where we live. My dad won鈥檛 be able to drive me there all the time because he has to go out of town sometimes for his work, or sometimes he鈥檒l be sick, and then I鈥檒l have no way to get to school because my mom couldn鈥檛 drive me in winter because she has an eye problem where she can鈥檛 drive in the dark. I need this school and this Poms team for my happiness鈥ow could my parents do this to me???? Is there any way I could go to this school? If you think of one, you just made me happy. You made my life a thousand times better. Thank you in advance.

Poms is a dance team where you dance at sports games.

I've tried telling my parents how happy it will make me--they wish I could go to that school is what they say. They aren't even TRYING to think of ideas for me to live my dreams and be happy! And no, there's no way that I can get a bus or train up there myself.

Try explaining to them how happy it will make you. If they see how enthusiastic you are Im sure they'll want to do what they can to help you.
Otherwise, is there any way you could get a bus or train up there yourself?
