Where is the most random place you've found a serious partner?

People can find love in the most random of places. In this day & age, it's common for people to find love on the internet through personals websites & chat rooms. The internet opens up so many avenues, granting access to amazing people who one never would have met any other way.

So far, I've found two amazing women on message boards regarding hobbies I'm passionate about. I was there for the love of the subject, & not because I was looking for a date or a mate. One, I met on a message board regarding fragrances. She ended up not being the one for me, but we still keep in contact & I think she's a wonderful woman. The other, I met just a few months ago on a message board for one of my favorite TV shows. We're planning on meeting soon, & I'm excited to see where this will lead.

I'm putting this in the GLBT section because I'm a lesbian & I'm curious about gay people's answers. However, straight people with wonderful stories are welcome to answer as well.
