My 7 year old is addicted to flying. HELP she believes in fairy tales? She thinks she can talk to fairy's HELP |
I have a 7 year old daughter that believes in fairy tales. She says she talks to fairy's. Once she told me she flew in the sky and met a fairy and she said it was in MADDLESHIN i have know idea what word it is. IS THERE SUCH THING AS THAT WORD? Seriously after all this its like I'm having believes in fairy's. She drew a fairy and she told me this is how she looks like she sees her the most and she told me her name was Twally. did you only hear her voice or were there other voices too? she has a grand imagination and yes fairies won't come out to adults but, they also usually only live where there are wooded areas and not the city, according to all of my memories there are many type of fairies too, from flower fairies to tree fairies or wood nymphs as they are rightfully called. where did she get the idea in the first place? is she interested in other types of things too? she also must b told that in order for her to fly she would have to have fairy wings and humans cannot have fairy wings because the fairies are mystical beings created by someone with as big an imagination as she has and there has never been any proof of any kind from any source or book or science other than someones imagination that fairies really do exist because they don't, there are only books that someone has written from their imagination that tell stories of fairies and their families or their magic. little girls cannot fly unless they are in an airplane on their way to vacation or maybe a pilot when they grow up. its cool to have an imagination, but, its not cool to open windows in the middle of the night, besides fairies have magic they don't ever come in a house they figure there is to much danger for them there and their fairy moms and dads say thats a no no and they may get into trouble and be punished for a month if they are found to have been talking to humans. mom you can use your imagination too to help her out. if you need to change her room out to one without windows or board that one up or even screw it closed, put a lock on it, whatever you have to do but, be firm. you don't have to scare her but if you can discuss this with your hubby and go to her together she may be more willing to believe it if it comes from you both at the same time. she doesnt need to go to a doctor. she is just an imaginative child. dont snuff out that fire by having her evaluated like shes done something wrong. let her enjoy her childhood. and her creativity will probably get her far in lfe. well take her to a therapist and nail her window shut from the outside. use wood screws. she has an over active imagination or a second personality. |
