I'm so confused about a guy I used to date HELP.?

I met him through match.com and we got on great until one day I turned up unannounced at his home to find out he lived with another woman who told me she'd moved into the spare room the night before I arrived because she knew he was upto something (I knew nothing about her) anyway on the day I turned up he came chasing after me instead of pleading her forgiveness and making ammends with her, the day after he text me saying he was having a break down of some sort and when I tried to contact him he'd disconnected his mobile number. I was worried so contacted the police and informed them of the text he'd sent and they tracked him contacted me to say he was fine so i left it at that and went and got myself checked at the GU clinic where they found out I had not contracted any std's but this guy may well have saved my life with his lies as I have just had to have part of my cervix removed to prevent cancer. I could not hate him after that and he's recently made contact again and we're

talking again and seem to be getting on even better than we did before. He's been a godsend through this cancer scare and really shown concern for me. I just don't know whether to trust him again or not. The woman he lived with has moved out. What should I do

he lied to you in the first place.....but then he supported you in your hour of need..does one cancel out the other??
