How would you react ?

My family and I are traveling to my brother's home in Chicago from Iowa for my niece's first communion. My family has a dog that we would like to put inside a dog crate in my brother's house. So that our dog is safe and secure while we are at the first communion service and luncheon.

My brother and family are not "dog people", but in the past have allowed our dog to be crated in his "mud room" while we visit.

The issue: My brother and family are leaving for the church BEFORE we can make it to his house. I asked my brother for his garage pass code, so that we might be able to open his garage door, place our dog in his crate in my brother's house, shut the garage door, then leave for the church to meet my brother and family.When I asked my brother for his garage pass code, he said " I can't give that out". "It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I do not give it out". My initial reaction was to be hurt that he doesn't trust me enough to give his garage code. HOW WOULD YOU REACT ?

I think i would be pretty pissed at him if he was my bro
